1. What is an 'Ignite' speech? 2. How do I work in a small group? LO: To begin thinking about your own ‘Ignite’ speech LO: To explore how to efficiently work in threes Do now: What did you learn about working in groups with different roles? Add a blob to your blob tree that reflects how you felt, working in a group last week.

What is an 'Ignite' speech?

What is your system? ●You are going to develop your own 'Ignite' talk. ●It can be about ANYTHING ●You will need to start keeping your eyes open for ideas ●You need a system for taking notes on your life Homework: Start using a journal or system of your own to record life's interesting details...

So, how do you work in threes? In your groups, decide on three roles that can be used when you are working in threes. For example... Give your roles creative names and note them down on A3 paper. We will be sharing these with other groups, so annotate carefully. The Leader... The Shouter... The Idiot...

How difficult was it to work in a 'three'? Add a blob to the tree!
