Get to work… 1.Go to ISN page Pick up your group’s sphere poster from the front table. 3.Make sure you have the definition, vocabulary and highlighted facts on ISN page 45.

Reminders … 1.Cell phones 2.Backpacks, food/drink 3.Summative tests = zeros on Thursday. 4.There will be a quiz on Thursday! 5.Pep rally on Friday.

Today … 1.You will make sure ISN page 45 is done. 2.You will finish your posters. 3.You will hang the finished posters in the hallway.

Spheres … Put H5 in the upper right corner of the front. Is your sphere’s name written big on the poster? Is your sphere’s definition labeled and easy to find? Is your sphere’s required information (vocabulary and highlighted facts) labeled and easy to find? Are your names on the back? Do you have everything written on ISN page 45? Highlight the definition and the required information.

Spheres … Geosphere: What is a definition or description for your sphere? Vocabulary terms you need: Lithosphere Asthenosphere Tectonic plates Landforms What are the “layers” of the Geosphere? How does the Geosphere interact with the other spheres? What other interesting facts can you find?

Spheres … Atmosphere: What is a definition or description for your sphere? Vocabulary terms you need: Ozone What are the “layers” of the Atmosphere? How does the Atmosphere interact with the other spheres? What other interesting facts can you find?

Spheres … Hydrosphere: What is a definition or description for your sphere? Vocabulary terms you need: Cryosphere What are the “layers” of the Ocean? How much of the Hydrosphere is available for us to drink (how much is freshwater we can use)? How does the Hydrosphere interact with the other spheres? What other interesting facts can you find?

Spheres … Biosphere: What is a definition or description for your sphere? How far up into the atmosphere does your biosphere go (what is the highest that birds and insects can fly)? How deep into the hydrosphere does your biosphere go (what is the deepest place in the ocean life has been found … what was that life)? How many different species are there? How does the Biosphere interact with the other spheres? What other interesting facts can you find?
