Tuition Reimbursement and Praxis Preparation Programs Currently State Department of Education does not offer a tuition reimbursement program to full time teachers in public schools who hold a valid state certificate. The goal is to open a program to reimburse teachers for degrees after being funded by stimulus money. Loan forgiveness programs are offered to those who serve in areas with critical needs. The critical need areas include title one schools and schools that specialize in science and math. This program tends to reimburse eligible student loan expenses to individuals who graduate from an accredited teaching program.
