About CHSP Provide students who have an interest in public health with opportunities to compare and contrast different healthcare systems which translates into ideas and implementation of improvements to the Canadian healthcare system Events/Opportunities: Taiwan Public Health Exchange (May) Annual Conference (March) Lecture Series (continually throughout the semester)

Taiwan Public Health Program Start of May 2013 for 2-3 weeks Pre-Departure Visits (Prior to Taiwan Exchange) Opportunity to learn more about Canadian system Allows for stronger comparisons while on exchange Formerly included visits to: McGill Student Health Services Clinic Rockland MD (private ambulatory surgical centre) Douglas Mental Health Institute Montreal Children’s Hospital
