Step One Access the HCC Website at Click on BackNext

Step Two The distance learning at HCC welcome page opens. Click on the hcconline.blackboard.com linkhcconline.blackboard.com A Security Alert window opens, click OK BackNext

Step Three The log in page opens. Prior to logging in, it is advisable that you a)Take note of information concerning online help, tutorials, and log in instructions b)Perform a Browser Check c)Read the information on Pop-up Blockers BackNext

Step Four a)User Name = the first initial of your first name, the first initial of your last name followed by your seven digit student ID number *(Type in lower case with no spaces or dashes) b)Password = the first initial of your first name, the first initial of your last name followed by your seven digit student ID number* (Type in lower case with no spaces or dashes). You will be prompted to change your password the first time you log in. Write the password down so you will remember it. a)Click OK * You can find your student ID on your registration form BackNext Example: If your name is Chris Smith, and your seven digit student ID is , then your User Name = cs Password = cs

Step Five Click on the course title of the course you are registered for BackNext
