Batch Coding –A batch is treated as all parts received at the same time. Each batch is given a letter code (A,B,C, etc..) –Date code corresponds with a package date not necessarily a manufacture date –There may be more than one date code within a batch indicating the parts were packaged on different dates CPD Report Mack Surveillance Panel September, 2005

Rebuild Kit Serial Numbers (continued) –If a date code changes within a batch then a 1 is added.
