After countless hours of fighting, Optimus Prime defeated Megatron but at the cost of his own life… Later.. Optimus Prime passes on the Matrix of Leadership to Ultra Magnus on his death bed, making Ultra Magnus the new leader of the Autobots. After being defeated by Optimus Prime, Starscream and the remaining Decepticons gather their dead and dying and retreat to AstroTrain. The surviving Decepticons vote to rid of all the dead/ dying Decepticons and throw them out. So some Insecticons, Thunderbreaker, Skywarp, and Megatron are thrown out. Starscream lastly throws out Megatron. Megatron (Gray) / Starscream (Red): U+1099 AstroTrain (rocket ship): U+1F680

After being thrown out, the betrayed Decepticons float off into space, where they meet a planet sized creature named Unicron. Unicron promises them new and improved bodies in exchange for the Matrix of Leadership that was passed onto Ultra Magnus. They accept and are given new bodies, and even a ship. Megatron has now become Galvatron, and his fellow fallen comrades Cyclonus, Scourge, and the Sweeps Unicron: U+1F311 ︴ ︴ ︴ ︴ ︴ ︴

After gaining his new body, he returns to Cybertron to reclaim himself as leader of the Decepticons. They arrive during Starscreams coronation as leader, but Galvatron transforms into a gun and kills Starscream out of revenge. ▁ Galvatron (gun transformation): U+1F52D ; Cannon blast: U+2581 ; Crown: U+1F451

∟ Unicron goes to Cybertron and consumes one of it’s/his moons (Moonbase 1), shocking the Autobots on Cybertron. ∟ Unicron’s appendages: U+221F

Galvatron leads the Decepticons in another assault on Autobot City, where the Autobots and Decepticons go into battle once again.

The Autobots retreat to a ship and go off into space, where they’re chased by Decepticons.

The Autobots’ ships crash land on two separate planets, Planet Junk and Planet Quintessa. Autobots Kup, Hot Rod, and the Dino Bots roam the planet for a new ship, but Kup and Hot Rod get captured and sent to execution by sharkicons. Ψ Green alien (Quintessian judge): U+03A8 ; Sharkicon: U+1F41F

Grimlock and the other Dino Bots save their fellow Autobots from the Quintessian council. And afterwards take a ship to go find the other Autobots. Ψ Dino Bot: U+1F40A

Galvatron and his fellow Decepticons attack Ultra Magnus and the other Autobots on planet Junk to get the Matrix. Ultra Magnus eventually dies by the hand of Galvatron. ▁▁ ▁ Matrix: U+29F1

Galvatron attempts to subjugate Unicron using the Matrix but is unable to unleash its power. Unicron transforms into a planet-sized robot, and attacks Cybertron. Galvatron opens fire on Unicron, but Unicron swallows him.

The Autobots finally regroup, and the Junkion natives rebuild Ultra Magnus and even give them a second ship. So the Autobots and Junkion people go to save Cybertron from Unicron. One of the ships manages to break through Unicron’s eye and fight him from the inside.

Hot Rod gets separated from the other Autobots, but instead finds Galvatron. Hot Rod then battles Galvatron, and defeats him with the Matrix, by unleashing its power (personally my favorite scene in the movie). _ _ _ _

The power of the Matrix also destroys Unicron, while Hot Rod reunites with his fellow Autobots and escapes Unicron through his other eye.. And afterwards, all of the Autobots rejoice _ _ _ _
