Great Compromise Split the legislature into 2 houses Bicameral Senate- # of representatives would be equal: 2 from every state regardless of size or population House of Representatives- # of representatives would be based on the states population
Three-fifths Compromise For every 5 slaves, they would count as 3 people towards representation in the legislature. Congress could not ban the slave trade until end of 1807/start of 1808
