Let’s Talk …. Communication Skills

The Plan… Define bullying Discuss our experiences Participate in small and large group activities Use technology to research the topic – AUP Write reflections in journals

Let’s Get Organized… You will be assigned a number between 1 and 5. This is your team number. Please write your team number on a page in your journal. Remember your team number.

Our Team Topics…. Team #1 Define bullying with examples. Team #2 Explain how a person knows if they are being bullied. Team #3 List harmful effects of being bullied. Team #4 Create a list of rules about bullying. Team #5 Identify consequences for bullying.

Get Ready…Get Set… Gather in your teams. Select a team member to write your group question at the top of the poster. Discuss the topic. Write the group responses on the poster. Sign your name on the poster.

Let’s Share … Tape the team’s completed poster on the wall. Walk around the room and read the comments made by other teams. Share your team’s responses with the class. Enter a reflection statement on the day’s activities in your journal.

Let’s Study the Problem We will be using the computers in the library for our research today. Reminder: The Acceptable Use Policy Guidelines are in effect
