PHASE 7 FACILITIES ENGINEERING 7.1.2 Types of Development Platform Options There are two options which are technically and commercially viable 1. The Fixed jacket platform and the floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) 2. A long term and fixed on site platform is preferable (Jacket Platform) 7.2.1 Facilities Design Concept The platform is planned for an unmanned facility to eliminate the need for personnel to be on rig The platform should be designed to accommodate servicing barges or vessel in the future The design is also aimed to withstand 25 years operating life with 30 years structural design life with monsoon storm condition. A remote well testing will be run on a monthly basis

PHASE 7 FACILITIES ENGINEERING Geological Data of Gelama Merah 1. Location 75 km from Labuan crude oil terminal (LCOT) and 15 to 20 km from Samarang Platform Number of wells: 6 wells consist of 5 producers and 1 vertical water injection 2.The producer consists of 1 horizontal and 4 deviated wells 7.2.2 Top Structure The Jacket Platform topside will be modularized integrated deck supporting the main production , a mezzanine deck and a helideck The deck on top of the wellhead shall have sufficient space to accommodate wireline and coiled tubing services 7.2.3 Substructure The Jacket shall be a 6-pile steel-insert structure utilizing 8 conductor slots and is to be designed 1.To withstand loading resulting from operations 2.To support facilities on the main production module on the top structure 3.To accommodate the risers, caisson and boat landing consideration the sea level depth

PHASE 7 FACILITIES ENGINEERING 7.3 Operation Facilities and Equipments The selection of production facilities is based on four main decisional 1.Transport and hydrocarbon evacuation 2.Substructure options 3.Processing facilities 4.Wellhead location 7.3.1 Wellhead Fluid flow from individual well will flow through the Xmas tree and routed to the production manifold 7.3.2 Production flowlines, Flow control and Manifold Collect production from several individual wells and direct it to Samarang Platform Direct production from a selected well to a well test facility located at each manifold site via a test header.

PHASE 7 FACILITIES ENGINEERING www.themegallery.com PHASE 7 FACILITIES ENGINEERING 7.3.4 Phase Separator A three phase horizontal separator will be use at Central Processing Platform (CPP) Separator receives production from individual well via manifold 7.3.5 Water Injection Water injection system consist of coarse filtration, fine filtration. Deaeration and water injection pumps Sea water Lift Pump Hypochlorinator to prevent marine growth 7.3.6 Gad Handling The produced solution gas will be use for 1. Future gas lift supply 2. Flaring 3. Onsite use for operated vessels and control systems Company Logo

PHASE 7 FACILITIES ENGINEERING www.themegallery.com PHASE 7 FACILITIES ENGINEERING 7.3.8 Electrical Power and Lighting A closed cycle vaporized thermo generator (CCVT) or a micro-turbine with configuration of 2 units, 1 unit on standby basis 7.3.9 Drain System Close drain, drain piping run throughout the platform and routed to vessels on lowest level of the platform Open drain, drain line converge into headers, then flow into closed drain vessel 7.3.10 Flare System Depressure gas from various pieces of equipment within the platform Safety mechanism for abnormal process operations that may create unwanted pressure surge Company Logo

PHASE 7 FACILITIES ENGINEERING www.themegallery.com PHASE 7 FACILITIES ENGINEERING 7.4.1 Safety Shutdown System Safeguard the equipment and the overall facilities Perform specified functions to maintain a safe state of the process when unacceptable or dangerous process condition are detected 7.4.4 Platform Data and Communication System A digital microwave radio system and a marine VHF radio system will be installed 7.5.1 Pipeline Tie-Ins The nearest CCP in Sabah offshore is located in Samarang-B Platform (SMP-B), approximately 15-20km from GM Platform location Tie-in to current existing platform is preferable to Reduce cost for processing and deck load on GM Platform itself Reduce cost for leasing a FPSO vessel for the whole 20 years Company Logo

PHASE 7 FACILITIES ENGINEERING www.themegallery.com PHASE 7 FACILITIES ENGINEERING Scope of work for Tie-In Fabbrication and installation of new riser and receiver/launcher Structural strengthening required for platform upgrading Associated piping, new vessel installation Deck extension to accommodate riser Figure 7.1 Tie-in from GMJT-A to SMP-B diagram Company Logo

PHASE 7 FACILITIES ENGINEERING www.themegallery.com PHASE 7 FACILITIES ENGINEERING 7.6.4 Corrosion Monitoring Corrosion monitoring is necessary to 1. Monitor the availability of the inhibition system to optimize inspection frequency 2. Monitor pigging debris for corrosion products 3. Cathodic protection and external anti corrosion coating shall be applied to maintain the pipeline integrity 7.7 Abandonment Decommissioning of Gelama Merah platform will take place when it is no longer economical to continue production.
