How to differentiate Batik Tulis or Tjap From Batik Textile

Batik Tulis Use canthing or tjap (stamp/copper block) Motif drawn with melted wax Untidy tumpal, Mostly in traditional color (indigo, dark brown and white)

Has seven traditional steps : o Mbatik and Nerusi ; pouring liquid wax used canthing or putting hot wax on to tjap in both sides o Nembok; covering white parts with wax (1 st color) o Medel; dyeing fabric into indigo color (2 st color) o Mbironi; covering indigo color with wax o Nyoga; dyeing fabric into soga color (3 rd color) o Ngerok and Nggirah; taking wax from fabric used brush o Nglorod; taking wax with briskly water
