Safety Goggles

Protect your eyes in any activity.

Lab Apron

Protect your skin and clothing.

Breakage

Handle breakable materials with care. Do not touch broken glassware.

Heat Resistant Gloves

Use an oven mitt when working with hot materials.

Heating

Use a tongs or a clamp to pick up hot objects.

Electric Shock

Avoid shock. Never use electric equipment near water or when it is wet, or when you are wet.

Corrosive Chemical

Avoid getting acid or corrosive materials on your skin or clothing, and in your eyes.

Poison

Avoid poisonous materials. Do not breath in, or let it touch your skin.

Hand Washing

Wash your hands. Use soap and warm water on both sides of your hands and between your fingers. Rinse well.

Fumes

Avoid breathing in unpleasant odors and work in ventilated areas.

Flames

Tie back loose clothing and follow directions when working with a lab burner, candles or matches.
