WINTER WEATHER WARNING CLOSING CAMPUS January 28-29, 2014

DECISIONS Winter weather - main threat is ice, not necessarily the snow Winter weather threat is considered more likely to result in cancelling classes and suspending normal university operations Severe weather – main threat is tornado outbreaks, damaging winds, etc. Severe weather could warrant considering cancelling classes and suspending normal university operations but would likely be a result of a hurricane or large outbreak. Due to short notice on most severe weather events, the students, employees and visitors are generally considered safer in university buildings
