A Sanctified Life  All who are in Christ have the Spirit  How do we actualize Rom 5:5?

1. Living in the Will of God  The story of Mike, implementing a new system. When Mike works late is he doing wrong?  Have to ask a much bigger question: Is he doing the will of God by being in this job?  To Live in the Spirit we must live in the will of God.

1. Living in the Will of God...  The discernment is not his alone – includes his wife.  We should live the life God has called us to live. A constant process of discerning and choosing. Being willing to let God lead

2. Being Attentive to God  Driving back from Hope – parallels for our walk with God: It takes practice and experience to drive well.  Attentiveness: Preparing Paula for High School. Building a shelf unit. A repetitive sequence – Paula watched and anticipated. Her attentiveness led to her participation  To live in the will of God I have to be attentive.

3. Everything in God’s Will is Sacred  False dichotomy between godly and worldly activities: Reading Bible – Spiritual; Changing my tires – Worldly Praying – Spiritual; Dropping kids – Worldly Sunday worship – Spiritual; Going to work – Worldly ALL FALSE.  Whenever i am doing the will of God it is SACRED.

Living it...  How do I live in the Spirit? Align my life with the will of God Be attentive to God at work in and around you Everything I do in his will is SACRED. It is an ongoing way of living.
