EQ:What is a common noun? A common noun names a person, place, thing, or idea.

Nouns In 10 minutes, list as many nouns that you can. (look around the classroom) Place a “P” beside the noun for person. Place “PL” beside the noun for places. Place a “T” beside the noun for things.
