Kiangan, Ifugao Six (6) properties were inspected on March 25-27, 2015 Some of the houses were unclean and not well-kept Re-inspection to be conducted on September 7-9, 2015 Assessment: QUALIFIED – NEEDS IMPROVEMENT IN TERMS OF CLEANLINESS

Pilar, Surigao del Norte Eleven (11) properties were inspected on April 15-17, 2015 Most of the houses are well-kept; tourism products and activities in the area are still to be developed. Trainings to be determined and provided by DOT OTSR and OTPRIM for the homeowners, in cooperation with DOT Region 13 Assessment: NEEDS SUPPORTING TOURISM ACTIVITIES TO QUALIFY

Assessment: QUALIFIED Siquijor Eleven (11) DOT – Accredited Homestay properties were inspected on May 27-29 ,2015 Homestays scattered around the province Activities offered include healing activities, cooking local cuisine, farming/ planting and adventure among others Assessment: QUALIFIED

ASEAN Homestay Standard PRE-REQUISITES Homestay Organizations There must be a minimum of 5 registered homestay providers in the village Members must be in operation for at least 2 years at the time of application Homestay Provider Must be free of criminal record Must be in good general health
