Think Transatlantic! Mrs. Moodey and Mr. D’Ambrosio

Purpose The purpose of this trip is to provide students with a unique chance to dive deep into a study of Germany and the importance of transatlantic relations. Through a home-stay experience, attending a Germany high school, and cultural excursions in several German cities, students will gain a clear perspective of Germany’s life and culture.

Itinerary Trip Dates: Saturday 22 February to Sunday 2 March February 22 nd : Depart New York or Boston for Germany February 23 rd : Arrive in Düsseldorf or Frankfurt and travel to Hagen February 23 rd to February 25 th : Home-stays in Hagen February 24 th and February 25 th : Attend morning classes at the Hildegardis School and engage in an afternoon excursion both days to Cologne and Münster. February 26 th to February 28 th : Depart for Berlin with students and teachers from Hildegardis. Engage in a three day investigation of Berlin. March 1 st : Return to Hagen. March 2 nd : Return to the United States.
