DEFINITION OF PROBLEM The equipment for production of Engine Valves is not fully utilized due to practical difficulties over the material handling devices. Analysis for Automation feasibility is expensive or inexpensive.

REASON WHY WE CHOSEN As we have to design a handling device for loading cum unloading the valves from die to increase the utilization of equipment efficiency and also production rate. we have chosen this project because its related to production area in which we are very much interested and also a challenging real time industrial project.

OBJECTIVE AND SCOPE Objective: To increase the production rate of valves by introducing Twin Die Forging Concept with handling device. Scope: By implementing this concept nearly production rate can be doubled.
