Changing lives, Changing lives, one flight at a time... WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR A PALS FLIGHT? Be able to enter and exit the plane with limited assistance Be able to fly in a non-pressurized general aviation aircraft We do not provide Air Ambulance Service and cannot accommodate a stretcher Have financial or compelling need Be medically stable and ambulatory, sit upright and wear a standard seatbelt Determination of the patients ability to travel in a general aviation aircraft is entirely up to the patient and their physician

What are the PALS Pilot Requirements 350 total hours for single engine 500 hours w/ 400 PIC for multi-engine or turbine IFR rating 50 hours PIC in aircraft to be flown Access to an aircraft (own, rent, or borrow) Pilots not meeting above basic requirements may serve as co-pilots and mission assistants

WHERE DOES PALS FLY? o Patient AirLift Services covers flights in the entire Northeast United States as far west as Ohio and as far south as Virginia. o Typical flight times in our general aviation aircraft will range from two to three hours per leg, covering 200 to 600 miles. o Linked flights are flights originating or terminating beyond our primary coverage area will be conducted by our member pilots, or will be coordinated with other similar organizations to provide you with a seamless travel itinerary. WE QUALIFY THE MISSION – We verify “ need ” – We obtain medical clearance – We organize the logistics – WE POST THE FLIGHT DETAILS – Pilot assignment – Special needs consideration – Arrange all airport paperwork and waiving of fees THE PILOT BECOMES THE PRIMARY SOURCE OF CONTACT – Coordinates the meeting point at airport – Answers any and all questions about general aviation flying
