NASA TECHNICAL STANDARDS PROGRAM NASA TECHNICAL STANDARDS PROGRAM January 18, 2005http://standards.nasa.gov 2 STANDARDS UPDATE NOTIFICATION SYSTEM (SUNS) NASA UPDATE PROVIDERS Update Notifications and Accessibility to Non-Government and Other Government (Non-NASA) Technical Standards Are Provided under Contract to the NASA Technical Standards Program Office. However, NASA-, Center-, and Program/Project-Developed Technical Standards Used by the Agency, and Their Update Notifications, Are Not Always Readily Available/Accessible to Users. Standards Document Owners within the Agency Are Encouraged to Utilize SUNS to:  Add Current Document Information so Action can be Taken to Automatically Notify Update Requesters When Requests are Made.  Provide Update Notifications When Changes Occur so Users of Your Documents can be Automatically Notified as Requested.  In Most Cases, Provide Website Access to the Document by Entering the URL of the Current Document Location to Link from the NASA Technical Standards Program Website.
