Summary Tess needs to get a foster child. Their foster child is Aaron. Tess tries to make Aaron feel at home. Tess tells Aaron about her boat and Aaron does not care. Tess wants Aaron’s mom to come and see Aaron.

Characters Tess Aaron Libby Dad/Jacob Natalie Eben

Setting Bethsaida Island The Tesslibby (Tess and her dads boat)

First Tess is so happy that her dad is coming home from the ferry with their new foster child. When her dad came off the ferry Tess saw that their foster child had red hair and she thinks that red heads are bad luck on a boat. Tess showed Aaron around the island when doing so she asked Aaron too many questions.

Middle When Tess was showing Aaron around they bumped in to Eben. Eben said “the only reason they got you Aaron is because they want Tess to stay at her school”. Then Aaron ran to Eben and punched him in the face. Aaron ran home and in to his room in the attic. Then Mrs. Coops offered Aaron to play trumpet at the Fourth of July party. When Aaron played his trumpet Eben wrote Aaron a mean letter in the music book.

End Aaron also played at the talent show. Aaron’s mom came and cheered for Aaron. Aaron decided he wanted to stay with Tess and her family.

I thought this was a really good book. Tess and her family help Aaron and his family. I recommend this book because if you read it you get sucked in to it. If you like Touch Blue read Rules. Rules
