 Science credits Norman Lockyer & Pierre Janssen for the discovery of Helium.  They made this discovery in 1895

 Helium! Helium!

 I am a colorless, odorless, tasteless, and non-toxic gas!  I also head the noble gas group in the Periodic Table of Elements.  My atomic number is 2!

 I do not make any compounds!  I am the second most common element in the universe!

 Helium can be in a liquid and even solid state but they can only occur at temperatures near absolute zero.  My name comes from the Greek word “helio” meaning sun.
