Agreements Reached Meeting with Mandat International on August 22 (Supporting Documents: oneM2M-LG ) Agreement Reached: Based on the discussion with a representative of Mandat International, the Legal Subcommittee agreed that Mandat International is not a member-based organization, and therefore does not qualify to be a oneM2M Partner Type 2. © 2012 oneM2M Partners 3

On-going Work Trademark Analysis (Supporting Document: oneM2M-LG R03) On the last call, participants noted that there is value in registering the oneM2M trademark(s), particularly with regard to the potential future use of oneM2M specifications in interoperability testing. The risk of not registering the trademark(s) would include the potential for increased costs/burdens associated with future registration of the mark(s). Participants agreed that there should be a centralized coordination process for the registration and management of oneM2M trademark(s), but agreement was not yet reached regarding this process. One option discussed was hiring a single law firm to file for the oneM2M trademark(s) in all countries identified by oneM2M. Participants tentatively agreed that the initial set of jurisdictions for which registration of oneM2M trademark(s) will be sought would includes: China European Union Japan Korea North America © 2012 oneM2M Partners 4

On-going Work Trademark Analysis (cont’d) Participants will further discuss the issues related to the registration and management of the oneM2M trademark(s) at the next Legal Subcommittee meeting, which MARCOM has been invited to attend. Potential Third Party Copyrights in oneM2M Contributions (Supporting Documents: oneM2M-LG R02) Participants agreed that the oneM2M Procedure Notice (oneM2M-LG R02) should be provided to the oneM2M Methods of Work (MoW) Subcommittee for its review and input. This was provided for discussion at September 12 MoW Subcommittee meeting. Input from the MoW Subcommittee (oneM2M-LG ) will be discussed at the next Legal subcommittee meeting on October 29. oneM2M Web Portal Frequently Asked Questions (Supporting Documents: oneM2M-LG R01) Discussion of proposed edits to the web portal FAQs will continue on the Legal Subcommittee’s next call to allow for input from participants. © 2012 oneM2M Partners 5
