Pamela Rausch (for a 3-year term) As design students, my husband David and I came to Saint Peter’s to see the architecture. When we learned that the pastor’s name was Damm we decided to come for a mass. David’s mothers family name is Damm, and there is a long line of Lutheran pastors in the family. Pastor Damm married us, and although he and David’s grandfather decided at the wedding that they were not related, that was the original connection that made us feel at home at Saint Peter’s. I was born and attended school in Ohio, but moved to New York to work in the fashion industry as a technical designer. I am the fortunate mother of Emil. I have greatly appreciated the grounding love and generous, creative spirit alive in this congregation, and I am looking forward to being able to serve on the Parish Council.

Geronimo D Desumala III (for a 3-year term) I moved to New York City the summer of 2006 just after I graduated with an art degree from Colby College in Waterville, Maine. Not too long after gaining my footing in the city-and in search of a place to be centered and grounded-l happened upon Saint Peter's on Easter in Since then I've found spiritual enrichment and community not only at the various worship services (all of which I've attended and also served as assisting minister), but also through my involvement in the Newcomer Commission, Visible Witness, and Creative Proclamations. I currently serve on the Membership Development Committee. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, I come from a Roman Catholic background, educated by Dominican Sisters and Jesuits. I find myself now at the intersection of social justice and ecumenism. In the beginning of October, I celebrated four years as the Advocacy Officer for the World Council of Churches Ecumenical United Nations Office. My current portfolio consists of advocating for women's human rights, indigenous peoples, climate justice, and the creation of safe spaces for LGBT people in the ecumenical fellowship. And always in search of grounding, I serve on the Board of Directors of Trinity Place Shelter, a homeless shelter for LGBTQ youth in Harlem. The place I call home is Boerum Hill-Brooklyn with my "urban family:" my best friends Aaron and DJ, and their son (my godson) Dylan.

Dennis Frado (for a 3-year term) I joined Saint Peter’s Church with my wife, Linda, about 15 years ago. I have been an usher for at least five years, and am a lector from time to time. I served on the International Ministry Committee for the entire time it was active here. Born in Maryland, I attended American University in Washington, D.C., and worked in various public policy advocacy positions for the ELCA and one of its predecessor Lutheran common agencies, the Lutheran Council in the U.S.A. I worked for almost nine years with the Lutheran World Federation's (LWF) Department for World Service in Geneva, Switzerland, in between my time at the Lutheran Council and the ELCA. I currently serve as the Main Representative at United Nations Headquarters for the LWF in my capacity as Director of the Lutheran Office for World Community.

Margie Clark (for a 3-year term) Having joined Saint Peters when we moved to NYC in 1993, it is no exaggeration to say that it has become a central pillar of our lives. I previously served on the Parish Council from During that time I coordinated the Homeless Breakfast Program and in 1998 helped this great program win recognition with the Mayor Rudi Giuliani’s “Youth Volunteer Award for New York City”. I have just completed a one-year term and I look forward to serving a 3-year term (subject to your vote.) I am a “people person”: a people greeter, connector, organizer, motivator, and influencer. I enjoy welcoming strangers to our Church and contributing to projects that elevate inclusive spirituality with a “human face”. I am currently on the Membership Development Committee that focuses on attracting new members and increasing broader, more stable stewardship. I continue to organize and coordinate a group that welcomes and connects women who have moved to New York. Friendships are developed through bi- monthly explorations of cultural and historical aspects of NYC. My hobbies/interests include family, travel, knitting, reading, exercise, and skiing (ski patrol and ski instructor in addition to skiing with family and friends). It will be an honor to serve on our Parish Council for the next 3 years.
