Communications: Engaging the Global Community Raise awareness of the challenge Advocate for solutions Drive commitments to the Secretary-General’s goals Goals

Activities UNF along with a PR firm and other SEFA partners will:  Extend our capacity to reach the public and thought leaders in each region of the globe.  Provide strategic messaging advice.  Develop print, video and online materials.  Assist with regional meetings.  Perform targeted media outreach to international and regional press before and after rollout meetings.  Cultivate a sense of momentum and excitement both via traditional and social media, and also with the assistance of celebrity spokespeople (like Linkin Park and Gisele Bundchen).  Develop opportunities to engage the public in “calls to action” in support of high-level commitments.  Engage grassroots constituency groups, including faith groups and civil society organizations.
