 Websites will allow one place for you to communicate with all of these people.  They allow you the chance to get all your information out and accessible to others at any time of day.  Allow student work to be shared on the internet and seen by family and community members that may not be able to get to the school.  A one stop location for all announcements.

There are many places that offer easy website creation. We chose these as the best options.  Google Sites*  Weebly  Freewebs  Circlepad * We chose this site as our example because of ease of use and accessibility

Google sites offers this step by step video to help set up your site and get the basics established.  Available with this PowerPoint will be a handout including the screen shots from Google sites. Some may find it easier to follow that rather than the video.

Be sure to know:  Your site name  Who will have access  What do you want to include in your site: student work, announcements, links for parents, assignment charts, links for homework help, etc.  Have parent s so can send a welcome and site location to them.
