MUKTHTAPUR VILLAGE IS IN THE TOWN OF POCHAMPALLI THIS TOWN IS FAMOUS FOR IS WEAVERS THEY WEAVE A SPECIAL CLOTH CALLED POCHAMPALLI

To weave cotton is changed to threads in mills or using charkas . weavers bring thread from the town to weave the cloth.

The threads are then put in boilling water and then they dye these thread in bright colours and are rolled in to bundles

Silk threads are obtained from silk worms

The threads of silk or cotton are the put on to the looms and the cloth is woven .the looms have many needles the number of needles are changed according to the designs .It takes lots of hard work but these people get only paid a liitle but these sarees are sold at very high price by the shopkeepers

Value that we have learnt Handicrafts like pochampalli are the part of our rich culture we should protect it. PROTECT OUR HANDICRAFTS.
