3D Animation For this presentation I’ve decided to look at 3D Animation. This style of design has really grabbed my attention in the past couple of months and hopefully this will be an interesting topic of discussion. I will look at existing designers and blogs which centre around 3D work.

3D Animation is used everywhere in the media, this creates a lot of different industries within this criteria. Games Design, companies such as EA use 3D animation all the time on games. 3D animation is the main part of this industry as all the characters and scenery have to be designed and created to look 3D and as real as possible.

This group on linkedin allows designers and companies looking for designers to interact and get together to create 3D work. This is useful for any 3D designer as it gives them an opportunity which they might not gain if it wasn’t for this page. Linkedin is a very useful blog as it offers these types of services but also delivers the perfect environment for this to work.

I found this artist on a blog site called ‘Dribble’ his work is really inspirational to me, although he focuses on only small 3D Animations his attention to detail is great and gives such a professional feel. This blog works very for designers to show off their style and giving you as a designer the opportunity to be hired and followed through the actual site.

Linkedin almost works as an online CV, this can be very useful for any designer. This is an example of a page it gives a list of the designers experience education and recommendations they have received from clients or jobs. This makes linkedin one of the most useful and interesting blogs that I have seen through my research.

This is another blog which I found to be very interesting. This is solely set up to demonstrate artists work and how they feel about it, feedback is easy to give and helps the designer to understand if their work can be improved or needs a lot of changing. This website is good although it doesn’t offer the depth that linkedin does but still gives a professional environment in which people can interact.
