Do not eat or taste plants! Plant Safety Use caution when handling or collecting plants! Do not eat or taste plants! If you are allergic to certain plants – tell your teacher immediately!
Eye and Clothing Safety Wear your goggles and apron when instructed! Never rub your eyes during an experiment! Don’t let sleeves get in the way!
Heating and Fire Safety Turn off heat sources when you’re not using them! Know where the extinguishers are located! Beware of open flames! Tie back long hair
Sharp Object and Glass Protection Do not use broken glassware! Don’t clean up broken glassware! Inform your teacher if you are cut!
Electrical Safety 1. Keep your work area dry when using electricity! 2. Do not overload the circuits! 3. Use caution when plugging in electrical items. Ask for help if you need it!
