Issues Confronting CEFACT  Lack of CCMA Business Information Masters (BIMs)  Lack of UCM  Issues with Schema Generation  Coordination between PGs

CCMA  Project has been in progress for over three years now  Current document is contains too much and does not satisfy business needs  User Guide does satisfy business needs, but is not accepted by ICG or ATG as an approved specification

BIMs  Draft paper written by Michael Dill  Provides a way to create overall business information concepts  Can be restricted down to business messages  Idea arose due to lack of CCMA standard  Lack of CCMA is forcing TBG to come up with its own solutions

UCM  There do not appear to currently be any plans to develop UCM for CCTS 2.01 There is a context section within CCTS 2.01 They may consider that to be all CCTS 2.01 needs – it is unclear from the project documentation  All UCM development appears to be for CCTS 3.0

Coordination with PGs  Other PGs do not seem to be responding to TBG needs  Two underlying issues Lack of resources Misaligned priorities
