JIM CROW – THE ERA OF SEGREGATION THE SOUTH AFTER THE AMERICAN CIVIL WAR

2 MINUTES List many, varied single words to describe how people felt during the era of Jim Crow (racial discrimination/segregation in the South).

Look over your list and choose one word from your list that you think best describes the feelings of people who had to endure racial segregation. Display the word on the colored paper. Use colors, designs, & pictures. Write your name on the front of your paper. –Post the paper on the bulletin board in the back of the room.
