Who may apply? Students graduating from 8 th grade from Camden City’s public, private, charter, and parochial schools Students interested in an academically challenging curriculum Students with an interest in medical careers

Selection Criteria Achievement record on standardized tests GPA in 7 th and 8 th grade Excellent attendance

Selection Criteria (continued) Ability to think critically and reason logically: –Brimm placement test results: Math aptitude Verbal aptitude Written expression –Interview with student and parent(s)

and … Three letters of recommendation –Science or math teacher –Language Arts teacher –Unrelated adult

Application Timeline April 4 th – April 15th –Obtain an application from Brimm’s Main Office April 9th –Attend an open house 3:00-5:00 PM at Brimm –or call the school to arrange a visitation/tour ( ) April 22nd –Last date to hand-deliver a completed application to Brimm’s Main Office by 3:30 PM

April 29 th Notification of application status sent to parents and sending schools May 14 th Interview and placement test at Brimm May 18 th Make-up interview and placement test. Prior arrangements must be made with Brimm. Timeline continued

All candidates for admission will receive a letter from Brimm notifying them of their acceptance or rejection by June 11 th.
