Special Intentions and Prayer

Review  I can identify ways in which God is present in my life.

Faith Statement: God created us to know him. When did you first realize that God was present in your life?

Searching for God In Scripture we read that God created us “…in his image; in the divine image” (Genesis 1:27).

Searching for God But we continue to search for God because we are created by him and for him, and because God will never stop calling us to know him and to love him.

Reflection God created us in his image – we reflect who God is. How can you be a reflection of God for other people in your life?

Faith Statement: God makes himself known.

God makes himself known “God reaches out to us through Divine Revelation and fully reveals who he is in the words and deeds of his Son, Jesus Christ.”

Essential Vocabulary  Divine Revelation  salvation

Timeline Activity 1.Think of some major events or milestones in your life, from your birth to the present, and list them on a sheet of paper. 2.On a separate sheet of paper, make a timeline of these events. 3.Under each event, describe a way in which God had reached out and made himself known to you. Due: Friday

Enjoy the rest of your day!!
