III. God Give Us the Gift of Faith Faith is the gift from God that enables us to believe in God, to accept all that He has revealed, and to respond with love for God and others. Faith is more than believing in Jesus and the existence of God. It involves trust that God created us, loves us, cares for us, shows us mercy, and want justice for all.

IV. The Church Gives Witness to God’s Presence Full Revelation of God is found in Jesus. We follow Jesus as a community – The Church Members of the Church support each other in faith, and are guided by the Pope and Bishops – the Magisterium. At Baptism, we receive the gift of grace. "The faith given to me in baptism suggests to me surely: by yourself you will do nothing, but if you have God as the center of all your action, then you will reach the goal.“ –Bl. Pier Giorgio Frassati
