5 Stages of Loss and Grief 1.Denial – Refusing to believe what is happening 2.Anger – Being angry about what is happening 3.Bargaining – Making promises, hoping to change what is happening 4.Depression – Being depresses when recognizing the outcome is unlikely to change 5.Acceptance – Accepting what is happening, adjusting and bouncing back
