Produce contract awarded to Coast Produce in Oct to supply produce to all five stores in Hawaii. Coast’s teaming partner in Hawaii is Honolulu-based Armstrong Produce. Armstrong Produce uses five major wholesalers/distributors in Hawaii to supply produce grown locally and from the mainland. Armstrong supplied $22.4 million in fresh fruits and vegetables to the five commissaries in Hawaii during calendar year Of this, $5 million was procured locally.
