New N1913A and N1914A EPM Series Power Meters High speed multi-channel measurement made possible! Agilent Restricted

Why should you consider migrating your existing E4418/19B to the new Agilent N1913/4A? Existing platform: E4418/9B Higher cost of ownership: More expensive at purchase. Higher running cost: calibration on a yearly basis Higher support cost Longer operation time, higher operation cost: Older platform with older user interface which make it harder to use. Lower number of reading/s System integration limitation Does not support new interfaces such as LAN and USB. Usage and application limitations: Only supports a limited set of power sensors. Only offer a maximum of 2 channels. Will no longer be orderable starting 1 Nov 2010. Agilent Restricted

What are the migration benefits? New platform: N1913/4A Low cost of ownership: Cheaper at purchase. Lower running cost: calibration only once every 2 years. Lower support cost: up to 30% on up front support (3 year and 5 years) promotion 1.056. Shorter operation time, lower operation cost: New intuitive easier to use user interface. 2 x Faster measurement speed System ready platform Full support of GPIB, LAN/LXI, USB interfaces offering full integration flexibility. Versatile platform: Support of a maximum number of power sensors. Up to 4 available channels to be used in various applications. Migration made easy Backward code compatibility with the E4418/9B 20% trade discount when replacing the E4418/9B with the N1913/4A Leverage of all your previous power sensors investments: E93xx, 848x, N848x… Financial solution to get easy and fast access to the new units: Easy Buy, Easy Rent, Easy Lease… www.microlease.com/agilent Already available for purchase Agilent Restricted

USB Host (U2000 sensor channel) See the improvements for yourself! N1913A/14A and E4418B/19B Outlook Comparison USB Host (U2000 sensor channel) Numerical keypad FRONT Color display REAR VGA Out Here is a outlook comparison on the new and old EPM. On the front panel, new EPM comes with high resolution color LCD display, USB host that support U2000 Series power sensor and numerical keypad for ease of value inputs to the power meter. On the rear panel, you can see a row of USB, LAN and GPIB connectivity, an optional VGA output for customer who needs to display result on a monitor. There is also pair of optional input/output trigger, and USB host for U2000 sensor. Trigger in/out USB, LAN and GPIB N1913A/14A EPM series E4418B/19B EPM series Agilent Restricted

New N1913A/14A EPM Series Power Meters New N1913A/14A EPM Series Power Meters Replacing the Popular E4418B/19B Power Meter High speed multi-channel measurement made possible! New N1913A/14A provide: Faster measurement speed, up to 400 readings/sec1 Up to 4 channels power measurements Support all Agilent average and CW sensors Code compatible with E4418B/19B and legacy 436A/7B/8A power meter2 USB master, to work with U2000 series USB sensor GPIB, LAN LXI & USB connectivity Smart Battery option – one push indicator function VGA output option Fast External Triggering option for power/frequency sweep function Software drivers for Labview (IVI-COM), Agilent VEE 2 years calibration interval The new N1913A/14A EPM power meters offer 400 readings per second measurement speed which is 2X faster than old EPM E4418B/19B. It is good news for customer who needs more than 2 channel measurement, new EPM offers the optional USB hosts that support U2000 Series sensors. For peace of mind for migration, new EPM supports all Agilent average and CW sensors, what is more, it is backward code compatible with E4418B/19B and the legacy 436A/7B/8A power meter. New EPM supports the popular U2000 Series sensors, just plug in the U2000 Series, new EPM will recognize and communicate with U2000 Series sensor, measure results can be displayed on new EPM. Besides GPIB, new EPM come with standard LAN and USB connectivity which is not available in old EPM. You will be able to know the battery level by just one touch on the battery, you no longer need to turn on the power meter to check the battery level. Does your customer need to show result on a monitor? The VGA output will fit the purpose. Lastly power and frequency sweep make easier and faster using the external input and output trigger. 1. Comparing to E4418B/19B using E-Series power sensors, 2. Need to purchase optional emulator software for 436A/7B/8A Agilent Restricted
