Severe Weather By Kathy, Tanaesia, Essence,Lydia

What kind of severe weather are there? Hurricanes Tornadoes Large hail Damaging winds Flooding Tsunamis Thunder storms

How is severe weather predicted? Severe weather is predicted when it is likely to happen and SKEW-T can give you a idea of the kind of severe weather that is going to happen. SKEW-T is a thermodynamic diagram that is mostly used in weather and forecasting.

What is severe weather? Severe Weather is any dangerous Meteorological phenomena that Causes damage.

What causes severe weather? The things that cause severe weather is extreme and intense low pressure systems. Thunder Storms occur when warm air from below blows creating wind, and an unstable atmosphere

Who are weather chasers? Weather chasers are meteorologist who chase storms but if it is unsafe to go outside during a sever weather they do it from the inside. A video about weather chasers chasing a tornado. violent-minnesota- wedge/pyvk79f?q=who+are+storm+chasers&FORM=VIRE5 violent-minnesota- wedge/pyvk79f?q=who+are+storm+chasers&FORM=VIRE5

What precautions do people need to take in severe weather? They need to take shelter Stay away from electrical stuff Avoid large glass area, and windows

Why do they chase severe weather? They chase severe weather so they can collect data and they try to get close to storms for the purposes of observation or science.
