R AT E XPERIMENT By Sara Arnold

B IG Q UESTION What kinds of food do Lexie, Cuttle’s, and Clowie like.

H YPOTHESIS I think that the rat’s will like these types of food’s Carrot’s, peas, dried banana’s, oat meal, peanut’s, and sun flower seeds. I think this because, I wanted to know what kinds of these food’s rats like.

M ATERIALS 6 bowl’s for food 3 rats to test the food The kinds of food The tricks you do to let the rat eat something Last but not least to write down the data you got

D ATA Lexie ~ Peas and peanuts Cuttle’s ~ everything but peas Clowie ~ Peanut’s, Carrot’s, and dried banana’s

S TEP BY STEP The 1st step of my project is you have to have rats that likes food. The 2nd step is you have to have 6 bowls to put rat food in. The 3 rd step is you have know what kinds of food rat’s can eat. The 4th step is you have to make some kind of trick to make that rat’s get some kind of food you made like, carets, green beans, dried banana’s, oat meal, peanut’s, and sun flower seed’s. The last step is putting all of your data together and see which food the rat’s like best.

D ID YOUR EXPERIMENT TEST YOUR HYPOTHESIS Yes, My hypothesis did test my experiment because, I wanted to know which kind’s of those 6 food’s rats like. I this know because, I tested the 6 types of food.

C ONCLUSION My hypothesis was correct because we already knew some kinds off food the rat’s liked. But, we didn’t know that they liked regular carrots and oat meal until we tested it. We would change next time doing an experiment is organizing our data better because we could know which food we tested and what rat we did. Why do the rat’s like these food’s ? Will they like different foods? What other kinds of foods will they like?

T HE E ND Thank you for reading my Power point about my Rat experiment !!!!!
