Listening to part one Questions for the first time 1.How old is John? He is fifteen. 2.What’s wrong with him? He can’t move his leg at all.

3. What problems does he have in the morning? He might not be able to get out of bed at all without other’s help. 4.Who helps him then? His parents have to help him.

Questions for the second time 1) How do John’s parents help him in the morning ? John’s parents lift him into wheelchairs and help him get dressed. 2). What was wrong with John’s house? The doors were too narrow and all the desks, tables and shelves were too high.

Questions for the third time How did John’s family change the house? John and his parent moved the shelves so that he could get stuff the cupboards, and John and his dad built a box that he can roll onto when he wants to cook in the kitchen. They also put some board over the stairs in front of their house so that John can come and go as he pleases.
