Page 2 Performance Improvement Projects (PIPs) Annual PIP validation process is targeted for completion in March 2011 MCOs will be given the opportunity to review HSAG’s completed PIP validation results and provide feedback and comments

Page 3 Performance Improvement Projects (PIPs) Next Steps Updated PIPs are submitted to AHCA/DOEA— August 2011 MCOs complete HSAG’s “Letter of Intent” survey listing all active PIPs—October 2011

Page 4 Performance Measures Reform and Non-Reform HMOs/PSNs The validation of performance measures report is targeted to be finalized in January 2011 The HEDIS 2010 strategic analysis report will be provided to AHCA as a draft in January The report is targeted to be finalized in March 2011.

Page 5 Performance Measures PMHPs PMHPs will be collecting and reporting performance measure data for CY Data are due to AHCA in July HSAG will conduct on-site performance measure validation (PMV) activities concurrently during the data collection and reporting cycle (June 2011)

Page 6 Performance Measures NHDPs NHDPs began collecting quarterly 2010 performance measure data HSAG conducted PMV activities during the fall of 2010 Final 2010 PMV data are due to AHCA/ DOEA in February 2011 Final reports are targeted for April 2011

Page 7 Upcoming EQR Activities Quarterly EQR meetings (via Webinar and on-site at AHCA offices in Tallahassee) Other meetings (including collaborative PIP meetings and technical assistance sessions) will be scheduled in conjunction with the quarterly meetings
