Quality and Productivity Challenge Mobilisation Event 2 July 2010

Plug in the base stations into marked USB ports (colour coded) on the laptop NB if you using more than 1 base station keep them at least 3 ft away form each other do not stack them Start PowerPoint To start PowerPoint slide show press F5 or use OptionPower >show check list A dialogue box appears select “Create new polling session” Then enter a name for your session and press finish. Run PowerPoint in the usual way (spacebar, arrow keys etc.) When you come to a polling slide a box will appear in the bottom left hand corner When you ask people to vote the number increases showing how many have voted. (The result will be shown on your next key press. ) If you wish to re poll a question that you have ask or pressed too early. Press the Key “V” on the keyboard you will be asked if you wish to delete the data for that question press ok. The question will reset so you can re poll. While in Show mode this function can also be found by right mouse click Presenter’s Notes 1

Your Keypad A question will appear on the screen with numbered options, when you are asked to vote press the corresponding number on your keypad Your selection will appear in the LED display and will disappear to indicate that your option has been received If you wish to change your choice simply press your new selection. Your last button pressed is the vote cast
