How to get the most out of this digital media player in Education

 iTunes is a proprietary digital media player applicationproprietarydigitalmedia player  Used for playing and organizing digital music and video files  First introduced by Apple Inc. in 2001  Able to be used by Mac and Windows users  Now on available in version 9

Music, movies, TV shows and podcasts can all be downloaded and used. iTunes has been set up to collect store metadata. By using iTunes you can select music and oraganise music using a rating system.

 Podcasts are radio and T.V style shows  They can be either audio only or a video/audio combination  You can download them from the iTunes store  Great for delivering a variety of education material over different curriculum areas  They are all free (education)  You can make your own and upload them
