MUSIC ENSEMBLES  Band  Choir  Orchestra  **You will be placed in the correct group based on your musical proficiency and audition by your teacher.

POP MUSIC!  *Offered to all Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors  You will study the history of American music.  Genres include Jazz/Blues, Country, Rock, Pop, Rap, and current trends in music.  This fun class will have you listening to all kinds of music! 

AP MUSIC THEORY  **Only offered to Juniors and Seniors  All students considering majoring in music should take this course.  This class is offered only to music students who are in one of the top ensembles at NCWHS, or to advanced piano and guitar players.  **You will be asked to take a proficiency exam if you are not a member of one of our top ensembles.
