91 Years and still….. Covering the bases on legislation. Lobbying on important national issues. Studying issues important to members.

YOU Can Become a Part of the History of Our Great Organization Connect with Leagues across the country. Interact with a great staff and other League leaders on the national level. Chair a committee and be a member of other committees. Lend your talents on a weekly basis to the national League.

Joining LWVUS Board is Experiencing the joy of working for a fantastic organization. Lending your expertise and talents weekly to the national League. Interacting with state League leaders. Fundraising by talking with donors about a shared passion and interest in the League.

Work and Gratification Working together to lead LWVUS, with help of a dedicated staff, is an awesome job. It takes personal commitment, the willingness to learn, and work with others to find mutual answers to difficult questions. The gratification comes in succeeding, learning and forging ahead to make the League a competitive organization in today’s world.

You know what’s Awesome? Working together with other board members and staff to creatively problem solve. Making the commitment to learn and work with others to find answers to difficult questions. Leading the League in being competitive and successful in today’s world. Enjoying the company of other passionate League leaders.

Join in Making League the premier organization for citizens. Making the commitment to keep voters informed and preserving voting as a right of all citizens. Educating citizens on issues important to their communities. Putting in the hard work and achieving satisfaction.

Important Information Fill out nomination form: find it online at LWVUS website or pick one up here at Council and mail it to the national office. We must receive a nomination form by October 3, 2011 Persons must agree to be nominated. ( no surprises, here.) Nominees will be asked to submit 3 references and resume. Interviews done by phone, usually minimum of ½ hour.
