Where is Suwannee, Florida? Suwannee is a small fishing town located on the Suwannee River which opens up to the Gulf of Mexico.

Interesting Facts About Suwannee Known as the Gateway to the Gulf Population: 300 Part of the Lower Suwannee National Wildlife Refuge Estuary forms a natural habitat for both salt and freshwater wildlife

Where do we stay when we visit? Our family has a house on the river that we call our “Fish Camp”.

Fish We fish for: Speckled trout Sea Bass Mullet Redfish Spanish mackerel Anything else that will bite the hook

Bird watch Kinds of birds you might see: Osprey Bald eagle Swallow-tailed kites Egrets Herons Sea Gulls

Scout for other wildlife such as: Deer Alligator Manatee Porpoise Fox Coyote Bear Raccoon

Watch the beautiful sunsets You will find some of the best sunsets ever looking out over the creeks or the Gulf of Mexico.
