Presentation transcript:

WHAT IS HACKING? Hacking is an act of controlling computer systems to get information about the system and how it works. Technically, a hacker is someone who is enthusiastic about computer programming and all things relating to the technical workings of a computer. REFERENCE :

REFERENCE : WHAT DAMAGE CAN HACKERS DO? Different programs can do different amounts of damage. However, most allow a hacker to smuggle another program onto your PC. Hackers can see everything you are doing, and can access any file on your disk. Hackers can write new files, delete files, edit files, and do practically anything to a file that could be done to a file.

HOW CAN YOU STOP HACKERS BEING ABLE TO GET ON YOUR COMPUTER? One of the most important guards you can have in place is a fire wall. A fire wall will help keep hackers from getting into your system and sending out your personal information. A fire wall stands guard outside the system to block any communications or information exchanges from sources that don't have your permission. EXAMPLE OF A FAMOUS HACKERS! Do you want to look like them? Don’t ever hack then!
