Presentation transcript:

Cover Letter So far in Science we have learned about the rock cycle and carbon cycle, minerals, balancing equations, and much more. My favorite part of Science is that while we are learning the material, we are having fun doing it. Also, that we don’t have to just listen to a teacher talk but we have hands-on activities and can learn some things on our own. One other thing I like about Science is that we have freedom to go places where we are comfortable and do presentations how we want to for the most part. My least favorite part of Science was watching the longer videos about how the Earth was formed and others because they did not really interest me.

Ability to Complete Assignments On a scale of 1-5, I think that my ability to complete assignments in Science class would be a 5 because they are explained clearly on what to do and include in the project and we usually have a partner which makes the work go by faster because you have help. Also, I am good with getting work in on time in general.

Class Effort and Contributions On a scale of 1-5, I think that I would be a 4 because I use the time in class given to me to work on homework we may have or to complete an assignment or project. But, I usually do not contribute to class discussions.

Ability to Work With Others On a scale of 1-5, I think my ability to work with others would be a 4.5. I think this because I will always work well with others and we would always get the work done, but if I am not as close with a person, I will be somewhat shy and not be as talkative or outgoing in the assignment. But I will still contribute and work to get the work done.

Improvements On a scale of 1-5: 5 on participating in class because I feel like if I did, I would be learning better and it would help me to stay active in class instead of just listening to what others have to say. 4 on tests/quizzes because for the most part I do good on them, I just had trouble with about 1 or 2 of them.

What Went Well This year a lot of things went well. On a scale of 1-5: 3 on the Black History Month assignment because it was a fun project to do, but I don’t think the students should have graded it because it seemed to me that although they had a rubric, they weren’t sure exactly what to look for and grade. 5 on understanding the concepts taught because I understood everything we had went over this year in Science. 5 on how the material was taught because it was a fun and interactive way of learning the material. Instead of just taking notes and reading out of the textbooks, we had a project made for almost all of the things we learned this year which kept me interested in learning about it.
