WELCOME TO INTEGRATED MATHEMATICS 3 Your imagination is a preview to life's coming attractions. - Albert Einstein

MY NAME IS MRS. CRUTE I LIVE IN SOUTHPORT, NORTH CAROLINA AND THIS IS MY FAMILY

I HAVE BEEN TEACHING FOR 7 YEARS AND TEACHING IS MY PASSION!

My husband and I have two daughters, Jordan and Haydan. Jordan is 15 and in 9 th grade. Haydan is 9 and she is in 3 rd grade. They keep us very busy with dance lessons twice a week. Haydan is on the summer swim team, which they have swim practice every day!

This is our dog Claire!

I love to spend time at the beach with my family.

My husband and I renewed our marriage vows in Jamaica after 25 years of marriage in 2010!

My family loves to go to amusement parks and ride rollercoasters!

We are also Carolina Tarheel Fans and love to watch ACC basketball.

WHY IS MATH IMPORTANT? Success in math does not depend on how many answers you know, but by what you do when you don't know the answer. Mathematics is the structure created or discovered in the human attempt to solve problems.

The second most important job in the world, second only to being a good parent, is being a good teacher.

Math can be fun and I expect to have a positive and enjoyable atmosphere. In order to maintain a positive learning environment for all, students are asked to observe the 5 “Be’s” every day.

1)Be present. Your mind should accompany your body to school every day. 2)Be prepared. Bring your notebooks and a pen or pencil to class every day. 3)Be productive. Give it all you’ve got, every task, every day.

4)Be safe. Always consider the wellbeing of your classmates and yourself. 5)Be respectful. Respect the rights, ideas and property of others. Remember the Golden Rule and treat others the way you want to be treated.

Let’s have fun, seek new challenges and opportunities! It is time to take on the 3 R’s: Respect, Rigor & Responsibility. Only you can take charge of your own destiny!
