God’s instructions for Priests Offerings FAT Instructions (Leviticus 3:14-16) From what he offers he is to make this offering to the LORD by fire: all the fat that covers the inner parts or is connected to them… {16} The priest shall burn them on the altar as food, an offering made by fire, a pleasing aroma. All the fat is the Lord's. MEAT Instructions (Deuteronomy 18:1-3) The priests, who are Levites… are to have no allotment or inheritance with Israel. They shall live on the offerings made to the LORD by fire, for that is their inheritance.....{3} This is the share due the priests from the people who sacrifice a bull or a sheep: the shoulder, the jowls and the inner parts.
